About Us
The Art & Soul Traders Ltd are a network of experienced and dedicated artists and facilitators with backgrounds in Murals, Community art, Film Making, Interior Design, Music, Photography and Graphic Design. Our portfolio includes commissions for, domestic, commercial and community projects. We run as a not for profit organisation who re-invests back into the community, running many free creative courses, workshops, exhibitions, events and a vast local to european volunteer programme.
Founded in 1988 and run by Mark E.W. Lewis, we have covered nearly 300 murals worldwide to date yet mainly concentrate on the south coast of England. Transforming our home town Portsmouth into the Mural city of the south. We have also organised some of the biggest and most successful events in Victoria Park in it's near 130 year history. In 2001 we took on the capital fund raising and renovation of the derelict gatekeepers lodge in the award winning Victoria Park, and to turn it into the headquarters of the organisation to provide access to the Arts for all.
